Official '26 PSU - USC game thread

[YeOldeCup]

Three man pass rush is the definition of futility.

[DaytonRickster]

Too easy a TD. Defense looks confused and lost on the last several plays. Easily taking the bait on fake cues...

Also poor tackling aided the drive.

[Phlebitis]

Do we have 3 players that would start for USC?

[Phils rug]

Also poor tackling aided the drive.

Very poor tackling

[BobPSU92]

Had usc at 3rd and 16. Then usc went right down the field. Piss poor.

[Moogy]

Opening drive TD for USC? Absolutely no one is shocked. The only uncertainty in this game is whether there’s any life left in the PSU offense to take advantage of this putrid USC D.

Outlook not so good, but I’ll hope for the unlikely regardless.

[Efejle]

Steve Jones said this is fixable.

[psu0408]

Man these ISU safeties are brutal.

[KingLando]

Do we have 3 players that would start for USC?

They're not that good either--honestly

[SouthHalls410]

Are they playing flag football on defense??? Wtf

[PSUfreak2008]

Take away the white out till we have a team thats deserving. What a ******* embarrassing group of pussies. This kills the lore of the white out.

[Knickslions69]

I cannot believe this stadium is as full as it is. Poor bastards.

Maybe because it’s a beautiful day and they enjoy supporting the team. Why are you watching as you obviously don’t care.

[Big_O]

About the only decent player on defense is Rojas. The rest are pretty bad.

Now comes the 3 and out on offense.

[KingLando]

Steve Jones said this is fixable.

Everything is fixable

[BobPSU92]

riley and Lynn coached together at usc. riley knows Lynn’s defense.

[Tom McAndrew]

I agree--people should spend money however they want but it's tough to justify going to a game even when the team is good
But to each their own

[Paws057]

This defense is awful. Don’t worry, our offense can now out awful the defense.

Always a silver lining....

[trufan]

Is this a rerun I'm watching?

[SkiSkiSki]

Worst defense in Penn State history.

[Nittering Nabob]

The entirety of the defensive coaching staff , including Terry, should be concerned about getting fired. The pizz poor tackling is just a symptom of deeper issues.

[KingLando]

Establish Hansen--stop worrying about splash plays

[Phlebitis]

Nice!

[BobPSU92]

Is this a rerun I'm watching?

[Nitt1300]

I'm out.

weak

[KingLando]

Okay--we'll take splash plays too

[Tom McAndrew]

[bdgan]

Do we have 3 players that would start for USC?

Rojas, Sowell

Who else?

[KingLando]

Took way too long to get the play call in there--you know they can substitute. Unacceptable.

[Phlebitis]

WTF holding the snap until the play clock expires?

[KingLando]

Rojas, Sowell

Who else?

Why is everyone acting like USC is Ohio State?
We're not very good--neither are they

[BobPSU92]

Jesus. We have no offensive line.

[Ludd]

Okay--we'll take splash plays too

As soon as it happened, how many others figured that will get us a field goal?

[SkiSkiSki]

Do they ever know where the sticks are?

[KingLando]

WTF holding the snap until the play clock expires?

We substituted late--100% on us

Why did they take Hansen out? People negative yards--Hansen never uses yards
Stick with what is working

[Nittering Nabob]

weak

From the person who claimed they wouldn't watch a PSU game this season.

[Tom McAndrew]

[harjeff]

What a clownshow!!!!

[SouthHalls410]

Do we have any linemen ? Anyone? Bueller?

[Ludd]

Why is everyone acting like USC is Ohio State?
We're not very good--neither are they

It’s not that they’re Ohio State, it’s that we’re Kent State.
