Official 2023 PSU - Ohio State game thread

[Tom McAndrew]

a holding call on tOSU's OL? that's something we almost never see when they play PSU.

[laKavosiey-st lion]

Field position game WIN

[Shadow99]

Am I the only one who was concerned with OSU having 3rd and 27?

[Tom McAndrew]

sack, makes it 3rd & 27 and tOSU's 4

And they either lose yards or get to the LOS on 3rd down.

Ellies with the play, along with Kobe King

[laKavosiey-st lion]

25 db

[Felber]

urghh cant let that happen

[Paws057]

Come on Hardy!

[BiochemPSU]

unreal, lol

[laKavosiey-st lion]

He had one f ing job. First time I’m pissed all game

[BVSt.Paul]

Oh man, could have had great field position

[LB99]

WTF.

[CDLionFL]

Hardy has to get that catch

[Tom McAndrew]

we're about to get excellent field position, and Hardy elects to not field the punt.

after it bounces and rolls, it's a 71-yard punt for tOSU.

damn this team can frustrate the fans at times.

smh

[WestSideLion]

That punt return is why Franklin teams lose almost all the big games.

[Ten Years After]

Where is the fair catch????

[leinbacker]

It’s the little things, like not catching the punt…

[ILLINOISLION]

The punter stepped out of the end zone!!!!!

[Bkmtnittany1]

PSU laughs at field position!

[anon1786720894]

Ouch. Gotta play center field better than that.

[BiochemPSU]

11-2 and Rose Bowl Champs but they should have benched the starter. Good grief.

No one cares about that today.

[JWB389]

I posted this earlier. We need to put someone in the punters face.

smh

Feels like the moment is just a little too big for them and the minor details add up

[JWB389]

The punter stepped out of the end zone!!!!!

Ref was out of position.

[laKavosiey-st lion]

No one cares about that today.

Truth but I’m weirdly confident we win this today

Am I the only one who was concerned with OSU having 3rd and 27?

You should be because how else can one get a 70 yard punt out of their own end zone?

[Woodpecker]

It was drilled into my entire team in junior high: catch the punt in the air!

[BW Lion]

That punt return is why Franklin teams lose almost all the big games.

A 10 - 40 yard swing on that punt alone. 10 if he fair catches, 40 if he was positioned correctly and fielded it.

[Madsol]

The punter stepped out of the end zone!!!!!

I'd love to see a replay because it sure looked close.

[Bkmtnittany1]

The punter stepped out of the end zone!!!!!

Really?

[LB99]

No one cares about that today.

You can’t see the forest through the trees. If Franklin would have benched Clifford for Allar last year and they struggled and lost another game or two, you and the others would have been the first to complain.

[wbcbus]

Game of the year, and it’s mental mistakes by the coaches and players all day.

[BobPSU92]

I don't think anyone has " turned on him". He's not playing well.

Some people are saying Allar isn’t the guy, he’s Hackenberg, and other stupid sh|t.

[AvgUser]

GREAT. We can’t pass. We can’t catch. Now we can’t run

[laKavosiey-st lion]

Daring 15 to beat them, except the challenge

Bet 44 was open

Are you feeling good about Allar?

[Nits1989]

No flag?

Field position game, lost 5 minutes ago

[Ludd]

1. You honestly think 10-2 with loses in the two games that matter makes Penn State better?

2. How about Todd Monken who helped Georgia win back to back nattys with a walk on QB. Or Lincoln Riley who made a walk on a Heisman winner?

So you wait until the season is over, point to the one guy that had the most success and say that’s who we should have?
