It’s very early but the early possessions don’t feel like a recipe for success for Allar.

This is pretty bad offensive coaching so far. They’re setting up the offense for a loss.

And Allar checks off, and then throws behind the WR.

PSU going for it on 4th & 1 at their 46. You've got to be pretty damn sure you can convert if you're going for it on 4th down in your own territory in the 1st qtr. And sure enough, after a TO, PSU sends ou the punting unit.

Disappointing series after the initial 1st down reception

I’m not going to be critical til start of the second 1/4. Survival of the first quarter will be a win

I don’t understand this offense. Multiple 4 star RBs. A large qb who just has to fall forward for 3 yards. And you want to throw it to WR who can’t get open against a Defense that has east to west speed for days. Unreal.

Young QB... In a very hostile environment.. Receivers are limited IMHO... Don't got much.. Can't just run as they would adjust quick.. Trying to mix in safe passing plays.. Allar should have ran on that third down and or took heat off that pass... Would have changed a lot.. I am however like u think that the coaches are responsible for most of the success..as u need to make high probability play Calls based on ur talent etc.

Has been the case all season. Don’t know how so many people have been blind to the inept O-coaching.

Trying to be too cute on Offense. Gotta run it on 3rd and 1. You work to get a favorable 3 down and then check to a pass anyway. Ugh!

There’s enough evidence on tape to support your POV. They definitely tend to try to be the smartest guys in the room in these games.
