Gifford got picked to let him get loose, then stripped him. Nice hustle to not give up on the play
Still can’t cover guys in the slot, but we are flying around and forcing TO’s.
Whatever happens on this drive it needs to take the full 4 minutes.

I wouldn't have thought it to start the year, but I think you're right. Consistent snaps and showing both power and quickness on the inside
Urb made a good timeout decision there. That was going to be a big run.
Confidence. We have shot ourselves in every limb and yet are poised to take the lead before Half. Coverage breakdowns and yet good play on the lines on both sides of the ball (including actual holes to run through on the OL). Better tackling. Creating TOs. Good clock management at the end of the half to not leave time for OSU. There is a lot to like in this game.
He'll have to work on his snapping, he's a project, but yea, that kid can move earth at the Center position and he's cerebral enough to do it. Plus he can move to guard as a back-up.
Hawkeye fan here but family in NE & grew up watching the 90s championship seasons. Looks like the system is starting to work and your players are really starting to buy in. Looking forward to a promising IA/NE game.
