This team lacks shooters. No 3’s in the first half. You have to have 6-7 a game to win big games.
We shoot the rock with 0 confidence whatsoever. It’s like they know they’ll get yanked if they miss a (wide open) three pointer. Gotta get in the lane and throw up a brick while trying to get the foul I guess [eyeroll]
You're not going to have consistent shooters if you don't run good offensive sets.
It truly amazes me how our HS All-Americans can’t make WIDE OPEN 3 point shots and these UNRANKED teams have kids that scorch the nets against us.
Until Cal puts a greater importance on making shots, we will continue to underachieve.

If this is the kind of horror show we're going to have to suffer through I'd prefer to just stick with mid majors at half empty rupp until conference time
With the athletes we recruit year in and year out you would think we would play faster
Looked like Utah’s legs were gone with about 3 minutes left in the half and that is when we made our run.
This! This 1000 times! We run bad offense, we get bad looks and have to settle for contested shots.
Only shots we made we layups floaters in the lane and contested (no no no no, yes!) jumpers from EJ and Brooks.
It’s not just about 3’s at this point. We can’t hit one to save our lives, but what else do we get on offense? Nothing easy that’s for sure. Beyond sick of the dribble drive, it’s pathetic and frustrating as could be.
Why can teams dribble and pass and work a possession for a high percentage shot, but UK dribbles and passes around until we take a triple teamed low percentage shot? Do we have no one that can create a high percentage look for themselves or someone else?
EJ is allowed to shoot all the 18 footers he wants though. There’s a reason he’s wide open! Calipari is the most stubborn coach in all of sport.
They're so worried about running a certain play and where to be on the floor. Every season is like this but usually they start getting it by now
They don't run any plays! That's why they struggle to score as everything is one on one basketball.
Because they have good spacing and driving lanes. We do not. We have 2 guys inside clogging the lane and poor spacing. Cal is still playing 90's basketball.
They all have certain spots they're required to be
