I still blame Kirk for most of Brian's failures. He had his hands tied to a game plan/offensive scheme that did not fit to the team's personnel... On the rare occasion that the offense was moving and we got a lead, Kirk would slam on the brakes. BF definitely did not get a fair shake. Not to say he was qualified, but he was on a short leash.

Lester does not have that leash, thankfully! Heck, Lester is even in the skybox!?! LoL! This is nothing that Kirk has had before. This is Kirk 3.0... And I am liking the direction it is heading.

Yeah, but we will not know anytime soon how much he was hamstrung by papa... But without question he was hampered by trying to fit a square into a round hole.

Back to topic, I like your two-deep Hawktech. I do think Lauck and Dotzler are neck and neck at LT. I think the official chart comes out several days before the opener. Their competition may go on right up to that.

Not KOK. Kirk and Ken are lifelong friends, and they got into it several times. With KOK winning some of those battles.. Plus he had better QBs.

I think you misunderstand what I say.

None of the offenses have been micromanaged.

All of the coordinators in all three phases have been give the same autonomy

"BF calamity?" No, not really.

Before Lester was even hired, KF told us to expect the offense to take a big step forward, as he expected the o-line to be in a good place.

The events that led to Iowa having a non-functional o-line had almost nothing to do with BF

I hate certain types of fans. And these type of fans have the BF situation wrong.

Can we just let Brian Ferentz go? It's been argued and bit**** about pro and con forever and is now history. Focus on the 2025 season, how inferior the clowns are, and how Nowledge U's admission requirements apply to chimps.
