Yes, sloppy, and yes, error-prone, and yes, it's just Rutgers. But the blocking was on point, I loved seeing the RB get involved, and the passes were vertical. Even the QB runs seem to work better when Mills is blocking for them. And yes, it was Rutgers. But if we can get that run established, I think we will keep seeing those downfield passes. Which is what we were all waiting to see.

When Martinez was a freshman, I really thought he would have a career full of games like last night - bad mistakes that made you tear your hair out, but offset by a lot of great plays. Here's to seeing more of the latter over the next year or two.

The second half was a thing of beauty. That is how we need to play, offensively.

The running game was diverse, Mills, AM, Wandale, inside, outside, etc. play action passes and screens off the run game.
