We go from an offense QBs apparently can’t grasp after 3 years in the program to an offense that is a pro scheme that no other college team runs that requires WRs to read a defense….what a debacle. There must be a reason nobody else runs it.

The offensive skill groups are hot garbage. QBs = overpriced rubbish, RBs = average at best, TEs = hands of stone, WRs = the worst group in P4. You simply cannot attract top talent at QB or WR with such a dated scheme and a gelding as your head coach.

The offense is a butt crack that hasn’t been washed or wiped in the past 15 years.

This is no longer a dated scheme. It’s the same scheme multiple NFL teams run. We don’t use a FB anymore and we run almost exclusively out of the gun. It’s not scheme, it’s an aversion to risk by the HC, plain and simple.

Actually, and I say this only IMHO, but I think it's both. Too complicated, obviously, for college, which may be why NOBODY else in college football runs it. Maybe. Possibly. I don't know . . .
