Home loss to Tulsa is no bueno. Doesn't help he constantly runs his mouth especially about his apparently small NIL budget. Without looking it up I'd have to think they have more support than Iowa. The only other serious program they have is wrestling.

We thinking an in season firing or?

They won’t fire him in season. Guy is a bit of an OK St legend, QB with Barry Sanders I believe and he’s had a good run. I think they’ll let him resign at the end of the year. But yes, it’s over for him.

They have a billionaire named who gave an open checkbook to the wrestling program. I wouldn't be surprised if starts funneling to football also

He is a dead man walking, his buyout is $15 million and he will not make it through the season, guy has had a remarkable run at OSU, 2nd longest coach at his school will not be coaching at OSU next season.

Not sure or not, if they keep losing, what is the point of keeping him around? It's obvious to everyone its time for a change, they did not win a game in conference last season, and are going to win at most 2 or 3 games in conference. No way he survives another season like they are currently having.

He's lost 11 of his last 12 games.

First loss at home against Tulsa since 1951.

It'll happen this weekend.

OSU was just in the championship game two years ago, and that was with OU and UT in the conference, they were one of the favorite to win the league at the start of last season, and then did not end up winning a league game, and he reworked his contract to avoid getting fired. Saw that he holds the school record for victories by a coach by more than 100 wins over the guy behind him, he was very successful coach for a number of years, but his time is about up in Stillwater.

I’m betting their golf teams are pretty good generally. Maybe Gundy can’t access the $$ T-Bone left OSU and their NIL is inadequate? A pox upon Okie State anyway…call it the Johnny Bright Curse!
