Good for Geo with the NBA, but IMO he has no shot. As for Tez, what 3 schools does he have in mind?
I could see Mathis doing well at a 2nd tier AAC program like Temple or the A10.
Are these greener pastures in terms of “better” programs or are they greener in his own mind (ie more playing time)?
Also with Geo- if I weee him I’d sure want to know who we are bringing in via the transfer portal before agreeing to come back.
I could see Tez going to Georgetown. Not a step-in to a starter role, but closer to family and a name program. Would be a good move for the young man.
See I find it odd that last week it seemed all was pointing towards him staying (based on the tweet) then, boom! Maryland lands 2 transfers in 1 shot and Tez enters the portal. IMHO there may have been some smoke there but maybe wishful thinking on his part?
Yeah, I mean, at this point, Tez would have just as much problem getting minutes at Maryland as he did this year for us. They have Wiggins, Ayala, and the transfer from RI who will be their top 3 guards next year. They do lose Morsell, though.
Don't you think if RU72 was going to disclose the three schools MM is considering he would have done so right upfront rather than waiting for someone to follow-up?

Mathis will go to a program that plays up tempo offense and pressure defense. It is best suited for me.
