I know we have the money. As a long-time season ticket holder, I also know how bad the sound system is. Regardless, just put these funds in the NIL pile. As a wise man once said, "$20 is $20"

If the sound system got fixed then you'd have to listen to more of that "rousing rendition of Madeloooooon", or the "famous Maroon-White cheer, or "give me another "T" Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I wish the Peaveys would just hook us up. Its my understanding they don't donate to Athletics, which is fine. They don't have to. But it seems like the company could fix our sound problem in exchange for a little advertising.

It's probably not that simple, though.
Fact:

Peavey needs to step right up.

I can live with the crappy sound system we have. Spend the $ on some O and D linemen.
100%. I was thinking the same thing throughout the whole game. Also, my cell service was amazing at Tiger stadium. The fact that these are even discussed at all anymore as it relates to DWS is a problem.

I will never understand why we play the fight song from 100 years ago that is no longer our fight song. At least the Maroon & White cheer is no longer sponsored by Ford! "Alright Bulldog Fans, it's time for the Maroon & White cheer, brought to you by Ford!"

Hartley Peavey lives in Palm Beach, FL. He couldn't give less of a rip about MSU

Tiger stadium is in Baton Rouge, the capital of the state of Louisiana. Of course their cell service is going to be better than Starkville. I am sure the carriers have done the cost benefit analysis and determined that it doesn't make financial sense for them to invest in more towers/capacity for 5 weekends a year in Starkville, MS. It sucks, but that is the reality.

FYI a national wireless company spent A LOT of money this past offseason to completely rebuild the wireless system at Tiger Stadium, with the other two national wireless carriers participating as well.

The same is also true at Davis Wade, however T-Mobile continues to have nothing there, and the local regional wireless carrier has their own separate system.

Everything you've just said and the rationale behind it is patently incorrect.

The fact is if it was based on a cost-benefit analysis they wouldn't do any of it, because all the stadium systems are WILDLY unprofitable.

based on that logic, we should sell our lights to save money on electricity and stop all but the most necessary maintenance on the Stadium. Maybe spend less money on the turf because other stadiums play on a lesser turf and paint only the yard markers because field paint is expensive.

That's kinda my point, but thanks for helping me make it. I doubt very seriously (I don't know for a fact) that they need a "stadium system" in Baton Rouge. It is the capital of the state, and I expect the carriers to have ample capacity without the need for a separate stadium system, which "are WILDLY unprofitable."
