Manafort's contacts with Russian intelligence services presented a significant vulnerability for the campaign.
- Wikileaks and Russian hacking: The report confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the hacking and breaching of Democratic National Committee and John Podesta's email accounts, with the stolen information then released through WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks was found to have played a key role in the Russian influence campaign, and likely knew it was assisting a Russian intelligence effort.

The majority of the incriminating material would not be grand jury material AND he explicitly said that Bondi should only release "pertinent" testimony, which means she gets to pick and choose what's pertinent. We know she's a sycophant who doesn't honor the independence of the Justice Dept. and she's given us other reasons not to trust that she would share incriminating evidence against Trump. This is a lame way for him to pretend like he actually did something.
