Game can’t end on a defensive penalty. It ends on offensive penalty.

Well it did last night

Can a High school football game end on an offensive penalty?
Conflicting information on google.

so the answer is yes. Madison Central fans are trying their best to reverse the spin of the earth and somehow change it though.

I'm not a MC fan, but they got screwed. They read straight from the MHSAA rulebook on the radio this afternoon. The game CAN end if the offensive penalty is dead ball. It CAN'T end on an infraction during a live play in which game clock runs out. Per MHSAA rules, MC should have gotten an untimed down.

I get it. My point is that it can, because it did. Right or wrong, it isn’t changing. Wish MC had won, but fell too far behind.
