I never thought of it like that, interesting point and I bet it plays a big part.

yeah, portal. A lot of kids were in a tough spot years ago when the coach was canned and they weren't a good fit for the new coaches plans. They couldn't easily move on and lost valuable time transferring.

This would be music to my ears. Of course if the HC gets canned after next year I'm sure most of the assistant coaches will be too. That said I hope they don't throw out the baby with the bath water. They actually have 2-3 guys who have proven they can get some talent from all over the country here. That's paramount for a program like Nebraska. To recruit to the current situation is extremely hard. They deserve kudos. I hope they highly consider keeping 3-4 of those guys SHOULD HCSF be let go. Of course MJ being number 1 on that list.
