NY Yankees

[2forheels]

And that's why I would have pitched Rodon. 2 strikes and Cole grooves a fastball right down the middle.

Every time they've ever shown Boone he's either blowing bubbles or packing his mouth with seeds.

[bluebooksandbluecups]

And 1-0 feels like the ballgame.

[Heels68]

Yankees firing blanks again?

Rasmussen simply owns them. On like a historical level at this point. Forget a run…I’d just like a hit. It’s comical how much this dude dominates us.

[2forheels]

These chumps are getting ready to be no hit in a playoff game by a team with no history. Smh

Just wish we had a collection of professional hitters…guys who grind out ABs in a game like this and who change an approach to find a hit or two. Guys like Bernie and Jeter and Paulie and a couple others.

As I’m typing…Jazz rolls over a first pitch ball to lead off the 8th.

[bluebooksandbluecups]

No baseball IQ at all. Inexplicable by Wells there. Never make first or third out at third. And try to remember that you are a catcher.

[2forheels]

How ******* stupid was that? Yankees make more base running blunders than a little league team.

[lakelawyerheel]

Well, the good news is the no-hitter is done and Wells absolutely lasered that ball

The bad news…I just don’t understand

[bluebooksandbluecups]

Well, Monday is a must-win now. Cam can’t pitch any better than Rasmussen did tonight. And if we don’t score any runs, I promise you we won’t win.

[bluebooksandbluecups]

You have to give Stanton a righty-righty chance here. McMahon has no chance of getting a hit.

Stanton honestly didnt look that bad. Put two good swings on heaters, laid off junk out of the zone, etc

Completely agree. He spit on two change-ups. And just missed the first fastball.

Time to quote the immortal Harry Doyle:

“One hit? One GD hit?”

Broadcast partner: “you can’t say GD on the air”

Harry: “oh, who gives a ****. Nobody is listening anyway”

[bluebooksandbluecups]

They had their ace on the mound and beat us 1-0. Need Cam to go get Game 2 and then we can show them how valuable it is to have four legit starters as Fried and Rodon dominate in NYC.

[2forheels]

I don't like Stanton at all. Period. McMahon can at least put the ball in play. Plus we had other options to pinch hit. Boone looking for a genie in bottle.

[2forheels]

We now have to win 3 of 4 to advance. I don't see it happening.

[2forheels]

This is what has killed us in the post season for the past umpteenth years. We rely on home runs to win. You have to play some small ball at some point to win.

We just did it last week. Very doable. Let’s get to a Schlittler in Game 5 scenario. Or, hell, we could just let Cam, Fried and Rodon shut these punks down three straight.

Need to do it every game. Batters were swinging from their heels the last 3 innings.

I don't want to be in the Trop for game 5. Let's bust out the brooms for a 3 game sweep.

[bluebooksandbluecups]

Simply a must-win tonight.

[2forheels]

We lose tonight and it's over.

Another RHP, do I assume lineup will stay the same. It worth noting that Rosario has a much higher average and SLG than McMahon does against RHP.
