Jim Palmer just said if so and so had not happened earlier and so and so had not happened after that, this game would be tied 1-1. Seriously? You can say that for any team in any game. He's a lunatic. I can't believe he has a paying job for a team.

He always has to find a way to explain how the O’s COULD have won as opposed to how the other team actually won

I only caught the last 2 innings last night and all they talked about was their perceived hosing on the Alonzo homer and how it was all the buzz around Major League baseball.

Palmer made it seem like that call is the only thing that can prevent the Orioles from winning the World Series.

Embarrassing indeed

MLB actually sent experts there and measured the track of the ball from home plate to where it landed. It was indeed foul. Even I thought when watching the game that it was fair and the O's got hosed, but Palmer sand crew knew it had been officially checked out so those whiners need to STFU! Saying it was ruled foul because it was the Yankees.

Thank God I can get back to the YES network tonight.

Yep. And 2/3rds of the rest of the season is at home

I want home field throughout the playoffs

Cam got 3 runs of support. Must have felt like 10 for him 2for!
You got that right!

i'm very concerned about the Yankees hitting. Only 4 hits again last night. This has been ongoing for 2 months so it's more than just a blip. I've never seen the hitting coach talking to players in the dugout. And Ramos? They sent Dominguez back to the minors for this guy? He's batting .122 with the Yankees and is shaky in the field and loves hitting into double plays.

As for being at home. The Yankees haven't been so great at home this year, especially Schlittler. He's much better on the road and despite winning last night he still struggled.

But a win is a win. Let's keep the winning streak going.

Yeah, I said it before and I’ll say it again…Ramos is just a much slower JD from the right side. That immediately felt like a desperation “let’s get this guy and hope he gets hot for a couple of weeks” deadline day move

I would be rolling with the younger, faster switch hitter. And as iffy as JD is in the field, Ramos is worse

Bwahahahahaha….Stanton strained the other calf rehabbing

IIRC, this would be re-injuring the original leg, before straining the other while rehabbing, now restraining the original one while rehabbing the other

You can’t make this **** up LOL

Stanton is out for the year. What a damn waste. Yankees could use that money for so much more. I never liked Stanton and I cringed when Yankees fans swooned over him because he would go on a 2 week tear at the plate. He's useless.

And what a pathetic hitting team the Yankees are. How long do they to average 3 hits a game before a change is made. 2 months of this **** now. This glaring weakness will be magnified in the post season. Won't advance from any round.

Now Weathers has an arm injury. There is just something wrong with the Yankees system. Every damn pitcher has arm issues and so many others have leg issues.

Ramos dropped a fly ball.

And Boone has a chump reliever in the game when the Yankees have a chance to win and he gives up a home run.

And now Garcia misses a pop up. WTF is he playing 1st base every game? Rice is a much better fielder and he has not been hitting much since he became the every day DH. I didn't like the Yankees acquiring Ramos or Garcia.

And Lombard bobbling balls all day
It's contagious.

I am so sick of Aaron Boone. His stupid managing of the bullpen is tiresome. Having a pitcher with an ERA of close to 7 in the game at a key moment, giving up a home run, is just stupid. Yankees lose 4-3 because of that. But hey, we got 4 hits today instead of 3.

I applaud the organization once again making chicken salad out of chicken **** with Hedrick and Blackburn

But you cannot build a bullpen out of cast-offs trying to make something of them

At the rate they are going, Hedrick’s arm is going to fall off his body before October

Maybe Stanton will take up yoga this offseason to become slightly more flexible LOL

I don’t understand how an athlete can pull so many leg muscles when….he never runs. He barely jogs

It’s laughable

The Yankees bullpen M.O. of the past several years of getting rejects from cellar dwelling teams who are coming off injuries and expecting them to become top relievers when they never have been is just idiot. The Yankees have plenty of arms in their system to develop some reliable bullpen arms. Weathers, Warren, Gil to name a few. After all Rivera was a converted starter.

And Bednar scares the hell out of me. A closer should not be relying on contact to save a game. I can barely watch when he pitches.
