Watauga is a solid team. If the seeding falls there way I could see them make a run in the playoffs.

Assignment football, well coached, disciplined team. Watauga is well deserving of the confernce championship. Depending on seeding I can see them round 3 for sure.

Freedom was somewhat exposed. Saw many things that will need correcting before any deep run this year.

The weather definitely had a big impact on this matchup. The passing game never really got going for Freedom. I feel that Watauga has a huge advantage come playoff time. I also feel Watauga is sneaky good this year. Defense is on point.

With that being said, I'd hate to see Freedom again this year.

Pats. One question why do they not use 5 as a full time running back? He was a much stronger runner. I think he also played middle lb? He could have really made a difference, and he did the times he got carries

Not really sure. Our running game is certainly lacking and Watauga took advantage of this. The slippery ball was difficult to throw/catch which limited Freedom offense. Freedom was very slow coming out of the backfield and Watauga was all over them. Freedom showed very little fight on either side of the ball. Lots of work to be done or basketball will be in full force within 3 weeks.

Freedom normally has a stable full of running backs. When Emmons played, there were 3 or 4 running backs that would have been the premier back anywhere else. They really need that next good running back to step up!
