Maybe if you guys actually had a defense, and the defensive line wasn’t getting pushed back ten yards every play you would actually be able to get a holding call.
Probably right!

But face it...all the teams in the Big Ten pretty much suck except for OSU...just like all the teams in the ACC suck by Clemson and all the teams in the SEC suck except for Bama and maybe UGA???

And the Pac-12 just sucks.

So basically we are arguing about which lame *** team is less lame...

And that would STILL be inaccurate!

From the 2017 Nebraska-Penn State game:

3rd & 10 at PSU 18
(9:18 - 1st) Trace McSorley pass incomplete PENN ST Penalty, Offensive holding ( Yards) declined
You need to go find a job or something. You've got way too much time on your hands.

You keep holding on to that thought. Hopefully you'll let go of it in less time than those balloons were held onto Saturday night.
You have shown your ignorance and your obsession, now you can leave .

Show us an accepted penalty. I bet that’s what makes the graphic accurate. The penalty was declined. Therefore they weren’t penalized, therefore, no penalty.

Really not that hard to figure it out.

JFC.

First it was holding.
Then it was holding on pass plays.
Now it is holding on pass plays where the penalty was accepted.

Are you getting tired from carrying those goalposts while you move them around?
Do you have more friends or more posts?

By not knowing how rules, penalties or football in general work? He's just showing his ignorance, if only you guys had your own board for that sort of thing.

The worst part is it’s true. When the Huskers have gone almost two full years (actually it might have been OVER 2 full years I believe Matt Davison said on the radio) before a holding call was called against a Husker opponent. Something is just wrong or off. You can literally find holding on almost every down in college football and when it goes two full years without one holding call against a Husker opponent, that’s says a lot. Some group of refs aren’t even trying in that case.

of course a NON Husker fan would say that. Why would a Hawkeye fan want the refs to call a fair game for the Huskers, right? Then Iowa wouldn’t get the extra help when they played the Huskers...eh? Yep, I Thought so. Anyone with F_cking eyes can see the missed or blown calls. You have to be beyond bias not (or in this case “refuse”) to see it.

I have to ask, why do Iowa fans keep coming to the Husker boards, honestly? I can got months or even a year without going to Iowa’s board. There is really no point at all, NONE. So why is there so many of you Suckeye fans that come to our Husker board dam near daily? It’s quite sad and pathetic to be honest....being so obsessed with another team that you live on their board as much as you go to your own board. Hell you guys do the same on Twitter, you guys flock to Husker posts and constantly troll them...again...WHY?!?! It’s beyond pathetic when you’re THAT OBSESSED with another team you’re not a fan off. Just my 2 cents....

That’s because your defense is so bad nobody needs to hold. Not the refs fault, blame the last 4 coaches still on payroll out there...

Ignorance is someone posting this: "How about Nebraska going 20+ consecutive league games without an opponent called for a holding penalty?" multiple times, and when it is proven to be false, still claiming it is accurate.

.
The graphic is 100% accurate. I'm sorry you don't understand football.

My point is what it is. If a penalty is declined it doesn’t show up in the stats as a penalty. Therefore, 21 conference games without a holding penalty. The graphic is accurate.

I guess I would’ve figured you understood that, but maybe not... it doesn’t change the fact that we are an undisciplined, often penalized team. But just trying to help you understand why the graphic, in and of itself, isn’t wrong, unless you decide to screw around at work and search other games to find an accepted holding penalty during that time. Guessing you are the boss and can get away with it.

Here is what the graphic stated: "First Holding Penalty Called on NEB Conf Opponent on Pass Plays in Last 21 Games"

I have proved that to be inaccurate. Yet, for some reason you keep claiming it to be true.
You have not proven a thing. The graphic is 100% accurate and your obsession is beyond creepy.

No, it is not. Please quit claiming that.
Sorry that the truth hurts.

Again, not using this in any bias theory any longer. It is what it is. But the graphic is correct. No holding penalty showed up in the stats during that time.

I showed you where a holding penalty was called on a conference opponent during the time frame in question.

How you can ignore that is beyond me.
If you don't understand I really don't think it can be explained any clearer for you. We honestly do not care what you think. This is a thread on a Nebraska board about Nebraska football. You have seen statistics and have heard why many feel they way they do. You can think what you want. Now run along.

Of course you don't care what I think...because I am bringing facts to the table when you want to wallow in delusional thoughts.
I don't think you know what "facts" are. There have been plenty of facts presented in this thread (none by you, fwiw), if you chose to ignore them, that's your choice.

Let me ask you this....."Was a holding penalty called on a passing play against a Nebraska conference opponent during the time frame in question?"
Now you’ve got me. Was waiting for it. Yes, a flag was thrown. Good detective work. But still, the graphic is only pointing to called and accepted penalties.

Still, to your point, the flag was thrown. Thanks for spending so much of your morning at the office playing detective on a husker message board.

Nah. It’s implied. People actually need to use a little bit of critical thinking to understand the graphic.

Good luck with that.

Offices are for schmucks who can't be relied upon to do their work without supervision.

I'm currently sitting on the back deck while reading about a delusional fan base come up with preemptive excuses in case their beloved Huskers lose to the Wildcats this weekend.

The program has fallen a long ways in the last 20 years, and at some point you guys need to face the facts.

Tom Osborne ain't walking through that door.
Tommy Frazier ain't walking through that door.
Lawrence Phillips ain't breaking down that door and then assaulting a woman.
Hmmmmmmm... pretty sure a little while ago you were working. Now it’s on a deck. Forgive me for not believing the message board troll.

Yes, I have something called WiFi. It allows me to take my laptop to various places and still work.

I know your headset keeps you tethered to your desk while you try to explain cable charges to your customers, but someday maybe you can move up in the world.
Lol! That’s some high quality trolling now! You can claim to be highbrow and better than the rest, and yet you are on an opposing fan’s message board constantly waiting for the next response.

Actions speak louder than words, and your actions and strong desire to post right away speaks volumes.

Wow. Someone else with nothing better to do but pretend they are something behind a keyboard on an opposing fan base’s message board. Super impressed with your effort here. Walmart, huh? At least our guy posted a pic, something you probably don’t even know how to do...
