We continue to struggle offensively and have an extra point blocked. NW's horrendous offense will only give them 17 for this game. Good guys come out on top (barely).

23-20 Cats I don't think they're better than us, but we're the perfect team to beat for their style of play. Their defense keeps them in the game, and they wait for the other team to make a mistake, then capitalize on it and steal the game. Hope very much to be wrong, but our tendency to screw up makes me think Cats.
Good call on a weird score due to missed PATs and going for 2. Give me:

Yes, I hear ya. I don't know.....but we need this win so badly......I'll go 17-13 that the Huskers somehow pull the win out.
I still think our defense is better than they get credit for considering the situations they've been put in by the offense and matched up against a struggling offense this week I can see a couple of turnovers going our way... perhaps even a defensive score... Husker Defense wins the day big for us and the offense will have a few nice drives as well as they get back on the horse...

I don't mean to be 'that guy' so I'll apologize in-advance, but at this point I don't really care about final score just as long as we have one more point than they do at the end of the game!
It really sucks to say this, but I no longer have faith that this team is capable of showing-up and truly handling business like they (on paper) should be able to.

I don't think our score will have a field goal involved. Wonder if there's a line on that in Vegas. Odds of NU kicking AND making a FG!!
What should happen is that they come out with something to prove and wanting to hit NW in the mouth: 48-14

Yes, I too think they have improved. Not greatly but certainly better especially considering how they've tried so hard to overcome our kicking game, offensive turnovers, 3 & outs & penalties everywhere.
That sure seems like not a far fetched possibility. Thanks for setting me straight!!!
I sure hope they are wrong but there are a lot of people picking us to lose on this board.

NW losses are to Stanford, MSU and Wisconsin... ( these teams are hopefully more comparable to us talent wise than UNLV so I dropped them out...) Those three scored an average of 24 pts so I say we score 14-17 points (ish).. NW scores an average of 11 pts so I say they score 17-24 on us.. that means best case scenario is overtime with probable outcome of 20-17 Wildcats... that being said, the board will melt down but we know better things are on the horizon so relax...
