I don't think mickbula has ever picked NU to win this year.

I come from a unique perspective in that I'm probably the only one that has watched the games for both teams. I'm a UK grad '84, but have been a Northwestern fan since I was young. I had a feeling they would eventually play each other, but I didn't think it was going to be this year based on how the end of the season played out.I believe as long as Thorson plays intelligently and because one of UK's best defensive players, Denzil Ware, is suspended that NU will win the game.

So Thorson needn't be-Ware?

I get nervous and worried very easily. All this talk about how good we are scares me a little bit. I have flashbacks to isu and new hampshire in my system still. I just can't understand some things in life?

I’ll always take an unranked team getting less than 40 percent of public bets against a ranked team in a bowl game. Especially with the hook. That said, I don’t want to be right in this instance. Would love to win big.

For the record, I lost an in-game bet of NU -3 that I placed right after UK went up 7-0.
