1) Bring back the gray facemask
2) Occasionally bring back the "NU" helmet decal for an alternate or somethin
-----Gray facemask is a much cleaner look
----Side Note: When you type in "NU football" on google Northwestern shows up....smh.

When you are T.O., you can rock those shorts any way you want :p re the OP, I'd rather bring back the kinds of players we had then.

It's like KU, MU, CU and OU. They are all the University of (state name) not (state name) University, but that's how they are known. It was like a Big 8 thing.

but isn’t Northwestern NU?

what kind of alternative reality are we ascribing to when the university of Nebraska or the university of kansas can just claim NU or KU despite it defying all reason and logic.

The logic of fans who want to pick between a variety of old uniforms but don’t want new ones ever... when they fail to recognize we only have options of old ones because they also changed.

Gray face masks were worn because that is all they had during that time..

1982 Orange Bowl is when the switch was made..

I say we just bring back that one thing we used to do all the time... god what was it called..... ahhh that’s right winning... we should definitely bring that back....
