BMac is getting into the lane surprisingly easily.

UT defends the perimeter very well. NU needs to keep up the ball movement on offense and not get bogged down.

BMac packed his shot for the trip to NYC. He's 2-3 from distance and has eight so far.

FYI, Illinois lost to Winthrop tonight, which means they had to pay for that L.

NU has the edge in the half court. They really have to control the tempo.

Nice half by the Cats. Eight point lead against Texas? I'll take it.

UT is talented but careless on offense. NU needs to keep playing physical and not give them any easy drives or shots.

Both Law and Brown spent much of the first half on the bench with two fouls each. Need to be smart and not pick up fouls early in the second half.

Man, if Pardon had hit the front end of that 1-and-1 or if BMac had hit one of his shots late in the half (had gone cold shooting)...

But I'll take an 8 pt lead w/ Law and Brown in foul trouble.

Too many TOs, but the Texans are being even more generous.

'Cats ahead on TOs, rbds, steals, assts, shooting % and FT shooting.

Let's keep it up in the 2nd half...
