I'm sure this happens more often than we realize in government and in public institutions. People direct millions to someone....and a few hundred-thousand find their way back into their or their relatives' bank accounts.

Yes. We all know that politicians do it. But I'm sure that people in pro and college sports do it too. And high level college administration. It's human nature.

Watching this team reminds me of my days of watching HS BB, especially girls when one team is just not very good and it is mistake after mistake and the losses just keep piling up and you attend but don't really watch. I tried to watch this game last night and just couldn't do it. I can't be the only one can I?

I gave up after the W. Illinois loss, nearly 50 years after attending my first game at the Coliseum and being as supportive of Nebrasketball as I could be. I just can't do it anymore. I DVR every conference game so that I can re-watch it if we win. Still waiting.
The roster is a mess. Truly only 5-6 guys who should be on a B1G roster (Walker/Dos McGowens/Wilcher/maybe Verge/Webster as backups)

Verge is funny to me. He is like the former high school starter who is playing intramurals in college and is trying to do flashy things to impress the freshmen girls. But is so weak with the ball it doesn’t do anything but turn the ball over.
