Two impressions: One, the piece did not make Saka out to be any better than anyone else on the D-line. Second, he didn't single anyone out as a dynamic, all-conference type of player. That says to me another 4 wins or fewer year.

Because of what some random Oregon writer says? I clicked on it and went right to the bottom to see if there was some kind of summary and one of the first things I see is....

"Fitzgerald will likely keep his job at one of the deep safety spots, but I was interested to see how it would go between Walters and Memphis grad transfer #0 DB Coffey for the other spot. I had figured that Northwestern brought him in to take Walters’ job away after an unsatisfactory 2024"

Walters was very good last year and Coffey was never going to beat him out. That's all I needed to read to dismiss this guy.

The big assumption is that this guy has a clue about what he is talking about. He doesn't.

This guy doesn’t have a clue, but one thing that is consistent is these preseason write ups are not expected much from the Cats.

Obviously we'll see at the end of the season whether or not he had a clue or not but it's sometimes helpful, or at the very least interesting, to get the view of an outsider who may be spending about equal time looking at our group as at each of the others.
