When there is any defensive effort at all, we get reminded of how bad Penn State is. Too badl it only happens about every 10th possession.

Has Watson ever passed the ball when he's got numbers in a breakaway?

Roby touched the ball! Is that legal?
This is probably the most inept offensive effort I've ever seen by Nebraska. Ever. That includes Sadler's time. I'm not sure we've run a single play specifically to get the ball to Roby. The flip side of that is we're running that stupid weave at the top and Roby has a guy playing 8 feet off of him and he hasn't looked for a shot really until recently. Somebody has to kick him in the *** and tell him that IF he can get an open look once he crosses midcourt he needs to shoot it. If he doesn't Watson is going to clank a 10 footer off the front of the rim again or Palmer is going to throw up a wild shot trying to get to the line. The other guy I can't believe hasn't played more is Harris. He's gotten to the rim a couple of times and yes he probably blew a defensive assignment but man why jerk him out the game for that?

And some people still actually believe we would be good next year by retaining Miles. Eek
I have not seen a single person post that. Not one. Every post with optimism about next year involves a new coach and maybe a guy or two he might bring with him.

Yeah but it’s not like Roby single-handedly won the last game or anything. Wait, never mind.

He's the ONE guy on our team that is a tough guard other than Palmer but just a few seconds ago he had the ball and first he passed on an open perimeter shot than took the ball in to the paint and passed on a 10 footer. Man somebody needs to kick him in the *** and tell him to shoot the ball more. He's got so much potential but he's so passive at times. It would be different if we had anybody else with a pulse offensively.

Holy sh#t. What the hell am I watching right now? Allen basically just handed the ball to the PSU player. Good grief this is patchetic.
As I posted earlier, this is the worst offensive basketball I've seen maybe ever. I'm not sure that I saw any of Doc's teams that were this bad although I confess I quit watching them pretty early. It was putrid offense and so is this.

Penn State averages 68 ppg and blew past that with about 9 minutes left.
Roby FINALLY gets the ball one on one and blows by his guy for a layup. He could do that virtually every time he has the ball unless they double him. Get him the ball and CLEAR OUT!!!

Yeah, let's acknowledge that PSU is playing out of their minds. We definitely suck though.

Well PSU has hit their 3s. I've not seen that out of them before. They've shot horribly every other time I've watched them.
When they’re not making 3s, they’re making barely contested shots from other spots on the floor. This was a pathetic defensive effort against a crappy team. The only thing keeping PSU from scoring 100 is that they’re about to clear the bench.

We're about right on our offensive production of late. PSU is way over. Good heavens another 3 with a guy with a body on him and a hand in his face.

Miles supposedly told the announcers that it was important that NU wins the "first 8 minutes" Well I think we were down by 9 after 8 minutes. This team mailed it in.

yea, they look bad and he can't fix it. like I said over a month ago, I actually think this team could miss the NIT.......shoot, they make PSU look like a sweet 16 tonight (currently 90-64), IMO. doubting they prove me wrong though?
hardball anyone or we moving straight to spring-ish gridiron?

We're not making the NIT. Not after this. No way we win another game this year. We're done.

Moos should pull a USC and fire Miles on the spot and not even let him ride back with the team after this performance. We just lost by 25 to the team with the worst record in the league and I’m not sure the score was even that close.
well they did just beat a top 10 B1G team at home the other night but this is still inexcusable.

I love when the announcers say things like “Nebraska has a lot of opportunities coming to strengthen their resume for the tournament” Yea...Vanderbilt has a lot of opportunities next season to get into the college football playoffs. I sometimes wish announcers were allowed to talk more ****.

Why does everyone look like this when we play them?

And why does everyone look like this after we play them?

I'm so sick of this NCAA tourney talk. It's over and been over for weeks. Good grief man......this team sucks and no where near good enough to make it! Lol
Actually it hasn't been over for weeks. Put up a decent effort and win a couple more games, and NU is right in the NCAA conversation. I don't say this because I think it will happen, I say it because I absolutely do not want the goalposts to be moved and suddenly we're hearing about how Timmy managed to secure an NIT bid.

The radio talk for all of Sunday Monday and Tuesday has been Nebrasketball just has to find a way to win a few more games and they are in. What a joke, they got blown out by a hapless PSU team tonight. The ONLY way we are getting in is if we somehow win the B1G tourney. In other words, we aren't going dancing.

We were badly beaten by a now 10 win team. At times we looked like a bunch of middle schoolers. Yes this performance was inexcusable. Quit trying to sugarcoat it......please.
Its despicable how dongle sugar coats everything.
Be a hell of a propoganda arm, ill give him that.

Miles needs 8 wins in a row to be safe

4 ranked teams to end the conference, 3 in the big10 tournament, and then the first game in the ncaa

I thought this about 5 games ago. Now, I want no opportunity for an assistant on Miles staff to somehow give himself consideration for the next head coaching job. This whole staff needs to go, minus an ace recruiter. Let Miles stay on the ship until the end
