Washington, Georgia, Oregon, Michigan, USC and the Cats. That is pretty good company!

I'm already weary of hat dances with 16 year olds. I know it is the way it is, but it is boring and arrogant
I'm beginning to think they are great but I think they are local news done for the home town and home supporters who have invested in the kid for many years. It is a goodbye of sorts.I'm already weary of hat dances with 16 year olds. I know it is the way it is, but it is boring and arrogant
Close doesn’t mean much in recruiting, but I think it’s a pretty big deal to be in consideration for such a high profile recruit. Hope this is a sign of good things to come.
Any word on another receiver for 2019?

Uh, move forward with the times. Faxing is so passé......Move forward with the times. I, for one, do not care what hat he wears when he dances as long as he ends up faxing his LOI to NU.
Good catch! I was confused by the colors but thought it must be UGA. Anyways, every school on this list is on the west coast except for NU and michigan. I’m thinking this kid is staying in the PAC 12Oddly enough, the Bulldogs is actually Fresno State not Georgia.
Please stop with the "get off my lawn" stuff. As you said, these are 16 & 17 year olds, so let them have their fun This is likely the biggest decision of their young lives, except maybe, who am I taking to the prom. I would like to see NU have more of these "hat dance" kids consider them.I'm already weary of hat dances with 16 year olds. I know it is the way it is, but it is boring and arrogant
Exactly. As our profile rises, we will (and want to) get more kids that are "hat dance" worthy. I agree, seems arrogant, but I guess that might be because I didn't get to do one when I was 16 or 17.Please stop with the "get off my lawn" stuff. With Kirtz and Dennis committed, I think the staff takes a "high bar" approach... wait on a guy like Genson Hooper-Price, see if anyone is an absolute "must offer" on senior film.
#godawgs is UGA. Fresno is proximate, but why do you think that his tweet indicated Those bulldogs?Oddly enough, the Bulldogs is actually Fresno State not Georgia.

I saw a quote from him or his family on an Oregon pay board (I’m a lifelong NU fan/UO alum). I’ll try to track it down.No actual quotes from the kid, but Georgia doesn’t actually show on his offer lists.

Collin Sullivan out of Round Rock/TX is another 2020 WR on whom we're "in" early. Hopefully we can see some early success on the field and get that "next level" kid on campus sooner than later.
So it turns out it was a quote from a few months back someone dug up. Oregon fans were struggling to believe it was Fresno as well. Basically he just mentions having serious interest and that they would likely be in the mix when he cut down his schools. As strange as it seems, it's definitely Fresno in the top 6. Unfortunately he's considered a pretty heavy SC lean by Duck insiders.I saw a quote from him or his family on an Oregon pay board (I’m a lifelong NU fan/UO alum). I’ll try to track it down.
My dad is an NU grad, so I was raised a diehard fan of the Cats. I grew up in Rockford and was known as the Northwestern kid surrounded by all the Illini and Badger fans. Been following NU since the Len Williams/Gissendaner football days and the Baldwin/Rankin/Neloms hoops years. How did you come to be an NU fan?

Absolutely. USC hasn't had quite the same death grip on SoCal recruits under Helton as they did in the past. It's definitely worth the effort for NU. FWIW, one of the more plugged-in Oregon guys says that NU is a legit player for Wilson and are by no means just filling out his list. Apparently Fitz has built a really strong relationship here. Not terribly surprising that a big-time SoCal kid is favoring USC, but says something that NU has already gotten him to campus on his own dime.
