NU Facilities Upgrades?

I know this isnt popular but I wish they would have built a new stadium instead of putting lipstick on that pig that is memorial stadium. My issue with memorial stadium is the way the stadium seating is. 80% of the seats are either in the endzones or in the corners. I would have prefered three tiers that are very close to the field which would of created more and better seats and kept the crowd noise inside and directed at the field. I know stadiums are crazy expensive but they are not getting cheaper. On top of that like 10 or so years ago they saw the foundation in the south endzone was fractured. It was a long time ago. I know it will never happen but the stadium (not the facilities around the inside of the stadium) is, IMO, really bad.

Hindsight now but the problem several years ago was where to build. It was even suggested at York. Hindsight, had we known the state fair was going to move and the university would own that property, man what a great location for stadium.

Don't take it the wrong way, but while student section can be fun at times, but at the end of the day..... I am getting so tired of this phrase..... they don't pay the bills. Student section costs the athletic department money. Should it always be avabo money? Maybe not. But if students can't go a few blocks when people drive 5 hours, then boo hoo. Wouldn't it actually be closer to some of the housing at the old fairgrounds? Lots of space for tailgating and close together. Not 15 or so parking lots like now. Even have the ice box for when we add women's hockey
