Niswander has had one of his best games. His net average is about 43 yards per punt. Very respectable. The Duke punter has quite a leg but can't directional kick for ****. His net average is much lower than it should be because he is booming everything in the end zone. Good for us.

OL is starting to wear them down. I think Hance at LT and Mogus back at LG is our best starting five right now. That unit is playing relatively well.

I missed the 3rd Q because I had to go to Theropy. What happened in the third? I got back just in time to see Longs run

Vault returned the opening kick of the second half for a TD. The defense has played lights out and our OL and running game are having just enough success to move the ball.

NU- opened with a KR TD by Vault... extra point blocked. NU got a field goal also.

The rest of the quarter was Duke punter punting the ball a couple times 50-60 yards and NU getting a couple first downs before throwing an INT.

I feel like I saw that coming. I think Illinois may be in a total shambles all year. I'd be surprised if they win a game. We will be their bowl game and only hope of salvaging a win in the season.

So Power drive eats up 4 minutes and gets a FG and I think we win, barring some kind of on side kick at the end.

can someone explain why Shuler doesn't fair catch that punt? He vacates the space last minute and lets the punt bounce several more yards where it is downed by Duke. An easy high hanger to fair catch. don't get our special teams PR play at all...

3rd down play not expected. Bad throw. Thorson will have his days but this isn't one of them. Nice muffed punt. Good work fellas!

That throw by Thorson was horrible. He looks greener than the last two weeks. But man, nice job on the punt recovery.

Would have never expected that deep pass from deep in our own territory...could have been a TD if thrown well
