I've been impressed by the announcers, they are better at faking it than some of the backup ESPN crews

The biggest issue is that the Duke defenders are getting off the blocks too easily.

Yes they do, that or more confident. Thorson looks pretty tentative, which is understandable but contagious to the whole team.

Also, it's not like there is that much time in the game - esp. as much as the O has managed to stay on.
The 3rd and longs aren't helping Thorson and neither is the bad field position (due to Duke's kicking game) helping the O.
Until we show we can convert on some mid to long range passing, we will be dead in the water. They will stack up on our run game and we will gradually lose the field position battle. Can't win if we can't score, even if the D shuts out the rest of the game.
Duke has a really solid secondary, and unless our WRs step up, we're not going to score many points.
