Back in the day when USM had great defenses(1981,1999, 2011), we called them the Nasty Bunch. The 1999 game vs NU showed what the Nasty Bunch could do , but the Blackshirts saved the day for the Huskers. Have the Blackshirts returned for this year?

We are really thin but have tons of heart. The coaches will put our kids in the best position to succeed. And that includes the bench to settle down and grow as a player. We're in good hands.

I'd like to continue this series. Its this type of game that toughens the team up. USM's Oline has drastically improved, so I'll be curious to see if we can get a rushing game going. This game reminds me a lot of playing the yearly games against Alabama(though WITHOUT the $EC refs).

No not even close. The defense is swiss cheese.
