I thought this was interesting. The consensus rankings for the 2026 NFL draft has Elijah Pritchett as the #4 overall prospect and Dane Key is #30. This means that at this point they are considered first round picks. The next highest prospects on the list with NU connections are Princewill Umanmielen at #175 and Malachi Coleman (#237). Then Dasan McCullough at #364. There are only 250-260 picks in each draft.

Having Coleman leave for the draft after 3 years of CFB while only playing 2 is incredibly optimistic. Same for Princewill. Sounds like a joke.

Pretty sure Joe Burrow was predicted to be a 5th or 6th round pick after his 2018 season with LSU. 1 year can change a players fate positively or negavtively

This site. I was just responding to what OP wrote. Must be the worst draft class in history.
These early draft projections aren't accurate. Mock drafts that are over a year early are about as accurate as HS rankings by these pay websites. There are a few obvious can't miss guys and then some well known guys who get a high ranking more by default. Lots of unknown players will emerge to overtake some of these better known names.

No way Malachi Coleman ever gets drafted, let alone does something meaningful with his years remaining in college. Dude is so soft and injury prone.
