we have a three yr old beagle /mountain fiest mix that was stolen yesterday. Wife let him out in the yard and 10 minutes later he was gone. He has a chip and is listed on the get me home site so we were hopeful we would find him quickly but he was gone all last night.About 530 this morning we heard scratching on the door and there he was......someone had to have found him or the thieves had second thoughts (he is a crazy dog)......damndest thing I've ever seen.....he;s back and safe and it's all good but have you ever heard of anything like that before?

It's not unusual for people to try and steal dogs. Sometimes they get caught when they take the dog to the vet for a "check up", the vet scans for a chip and learns the truth.
My guess though, is your beagle went on a walk-about. Probably chasing some *****. :wink:
That's not strange. Dog was probably getting some strange. My old dog would catch a whiff of a ***** in heat, and would disappear for days. Didn't matter how hard you tried to keep the dog from leaving, once they get a good whiff, they'll always find a way to escape.

no not really......after he" came back" our neighbor said they saw him in a truck with two girls....she thought my wife and a friend were taking him for a walk like they usually do.....I don't care about catching them...just glad he's back

Ive got 4,5,6 hybrids and 7 thru pw Adams senior set. Callaway driver and 3,5, and 7 woods.....my pro says go Taylor Made but Ive never owned any....he says do the demo when the temp is above 55 and wear short sleeves
