1. I agree with what many have already said, getting LSU in Week 1 seems like the ideal time to play them on the road this year.

2. I love that we follow that up with a home opener against Arkansas that should be a fairly comfortable win.

3. Wish our bye week was a little bit later but oh well.

4. I like the back to back home games against Vandy and Auburn, feels like we can build some confidence against Vandy and then have a real chance to beat Auburn.

5. Don’t like that we go to Athens the week before the Egg Bowl, though OM has a tough game at A&M that week.

6. Mizzou in our last game gives me BYU 2001 vibes. Odd opponent to be our last game but the circumstances are what they are. Hopefully the officiating is significantly better in this game than it was that BYU game. Also gives us an opportunity to end the season on a high note regardless of how the Egg Bowl goes.

Mizzou is a trap game. It's going to be hard to get the players and fans hyped up for a post egg bowl game against one of the worst teams in the conference.

Seriously. We’ve played Louisville more in the last 3 years in bowls than we’ve played Mizzou the entire time they’ve been in the SEC.

What you want is fighting for a bowl in those last two games.

Hopefully we're 3-5 or better going in, but even if 3-6, hopefully the bar for bowls will be lower. That will give the Mizzou game meaning.

That's best for us, especially this year. We're not beating Bama, UGA, or LSU anyway. May as well get them on the road. Wish the Egg Bowl was at home, but maybe they'll be beat down by then.
