Now that we know Smith will start. How long will he go....

History says not long. His two starts this season have both been 2 innings. The majority of his appearances have been an inning. His longest outing this season has been 4 innings vs Little Rock.

Does he go as long as he can or no more than a couple of innings then on to Wholestaff?

and that includes giving up 3-4 runs

I hope we can get 5 from him. Don't want to be running through a lot of pitchers in the 1st game.

as long as he can, but I doubt he goes more than 3 innings. I doubt any pitcher goes deeper than 1 time thru the order. Look for Keegan James and Jack Egan to follow him. I also expect Barlow and maybe even Cerantola to see the mound. Liebelt pitching will depend on the score/situation.

We're likely in the losers bracket tomorrow if he goes less than 3. Go Dawgs!

Is it too late to borrow some LA tech, McNeese, or Southern uniforms? Those things were kryptonite to the yella tigers in mid-week.
