Nobody is going to forfeit a game, I don't believe. All this rule is going to do is prevent situations like last year where Ole Miss dodged their game against A&M. If you have a covid outbreak on your team, you're going to have to play shorthanded or forfeit and most everyone will play shorthanded as long as they can field a team.

So they were allowed to "opt out" of the A&M game without an L due to forfeit? That is 17ed up. But it figures they would weasel their way out that way.

We proved against Georgia last year that we're not going to forfeit. Not sure if all of the other 13 teams have our level of grit and character though.

Why would that have been a forfeit (and I assume an L) for us, when the sharts were allowed to "opt out" against A&M, without an L? Am I missing some of the facts here?
