That's usually the case when you lose 7 to the NBA. Pretty amazing how good we are considering that tho. Me thinks.Seriously, this is nowhere near the squad y'all had last year.

We went 7-0 against them '02 - the middle of '05
I think Florida made a very good hire. I am impressed with Mike White. I believe he will recruit well in Gainesville and keep Florida at the top. Let's face it - nobody in the SEC has really competed year in and year out with Calipari - but White is 20 years younger than Calipari - in 4 or 5 years he could be the guy in the SEC.To where they've historically been, who will be the regular prime time game for Kentucky in the next few years?
And in the last 20 years we have more titles and final fours than your team has in their entire history. See how easy it was to make you look very stupid? We've got more championships than you in the last 10 years
We've been relevant for 20. We have multiple championships in both. Y'all will never be able to say that. No we don't have Kentucky's basketball history but we're only other team in this conference that comes close and will always be a rival .
Nope! Don't have our basketball history or Bamas football history. Like I said, good at both but not great at either. But I guess that's nice too. Enjoy! We've been relevant for 20. Kentucky hasn't lost this year? When they did were you guys claiming it to be the end of an era?Maybe so but you got your asses handed to you today.
LolNo, we don't have as many self proclaimed championships like bama. C'mon those guys used to hang banners after lose their bowl game.
Nope, we go to the recruiting part of this site and always feel much better.Kentucky hasn't lost this year? When they did were you guys claiming it to be the end of an era?
Or John Wall, Anthony Davis, CAT, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Big Cuz, Booker ...............That can be misleading. You might end up with the next kasey hill and chris walker lol
Or the next Anthony Davis, John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, Nerlins Noel, Julius Randle, Jamal Murray, Tyler Ulis, Karl Townes, Michael Kidd Gilchrist, Eric Bledsoe, Willie Cauley Stein, James Young…. I think you get the picture. That can be misleading. You might end up with the next kasey hill and chris walker lol
Yes, and we called them trolls too!!Some of you guys were calling for coaches head a week ago and you're calling me a troll?
You see that's where you're wrong… again. Nobody was calling for Calipari to be fired. GTFOH with that crap. Some of you guys were calling for coaches head a week ago and you're calling me a troll?
I just don't understand someone calling for a coaches head coming off back to back final 4s and your team is still top 25.Yes, and we called them trolls too!!
Yeah, but I wasn't one of them professor. If you look back, I have actually been calling out those people and defending my coach. Some of you guys were calling for coaches head a week ago and you're calling me a troll?
Posts like this make me scratch my head. We still have to play Florida in Gainesville and given our performance on the road this year; who knows what will happen down there. To where they've historically been, who will be the regular prime time game for Kentucky in the next few years?
And how exactly are you not a troll? Some of you guys were calling for coaches head a week ago and you're calling me a troll?
Unless they are in fact trolls, or have a personal vendetta or dislike for coach Cal.I just don't understand someone calling for a coaches head coming off back to back final 4s and your team is still top 25.
Please provide a quote or a link to someone "calling for Cal's head".I just don't understand someone calling for a coaches head coming off back to back final 4s and your team is still top 25.

And you won't have a first half again like you had today all season. So you don't think I'm taking up for a Gator, I'll quickly add that you're the better team. But, both teams shooting closer to average and the game in Gainesville, you are certainly beatable.
The only thing UK is back to is kicking Florida's ***.
And why is a FSU fan talking smack about basketball? [laughing]
First of all, congratulations on your win at Rupp. I think too many of you enjoyed that butt-kicking of the Gators! Don't lie!
Would Florida had a better chance in this game if it was played earlier in January at your place? btw, Kentucky still has to visit Gainesville, so, see you then.

Historically, Florida has won the SEC title in three of the last five years and Kentucky has won three SEC titles in the last six years. So, Florida is not going anywhere and are still in contention for this year's SEC title along with up to 6-9 other teams.
The SEC has been very competitive this year. This week, LSU (8-2) has a chance to put some distance from the other contenders if it can defeat South Carolina on the road and Texas A&M at home.
With Texas A&M's loss to South Carolina, Florida (6-4) is still in a 3rd place tied with Georgia (6-4) of all teams while UK (7-3) went up to a 2nd place tie (w/USC & A&M). After your game today, I really think that Florida has a much more favorable schedule than what Kentucky will have.

In the SEC, Florida has been 5-0 at home (6-0 with WVU win) but only 1-4 on the road. However, the Gators have already played Tenn, Vandy, Texas A&M, and Kentucky on the road. Ole Miss has been UF's only road win. This is what is left on UF's schedule:
UF (H): Miss, Alabama, Vandy, Kentucky
UF (A): Georgia, USC, LSU, Missouri
http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_357_Men.html
Kentucky has also been 5-0 at home but 2-3 (2-4 with KU loss) on the road. I really think that the difficulty of your schedule is kind of back loaded and more difficult.
UK (H): Georgia, Tenn, Alabama, LSU
UK (A): USC, Texas A&M, ?Vandy, Florida
The SEC is still wide open with many contenders left. Even teams like Ole Miss (5-5) & Georgia (5-5) can get hot and finish their season strong. We still have all of February to see how everyone will do in the SEC.
Pretty decent post but you should try harder to get Georgia's record right. Is it 6-4 or 5-5?First of all, congratulations on your win at Rupp. I think too many of you enjoyed that butt-kicking of the Gators! Don't lie!

Awesome! Your program has been relevant for 10years!
Finals UK 8 FLA 2
Kentucky may not win by 19 in Gainesville, but Kentucky certainly should be favored to win the game there. If they decide to play, they'll probably win by about 8-10..
Hopefully White pucks up where Billy left off. The SEC needs Florida and a few other programs to be consistently good. I think Frank Martin will get South Carolina to be a legit threat on a consistent basis and I think aTm has proven they can be better than mediocre but programs like Georgia, Auburn, the Mississippi schools, Tennessee and Alabama need to take basketball more seriously. I think they started to by hiring top coaches the last couple years. We now have good coaches at Mississippi State, USC and Auburn. So far I like what I see out of White, he looks intense and seems to have a good coaching mind. The question is. Can he recruit??? Time will tell.As a Florida fan, I am cautiously optimistic about White. The team this year is a bit inconsistent. Playing two games like a final four contender then playing one game like a NIT cellar dweller.
Not sure if that is mostly on the players or the coach. Or equally both. But they have been playing better as of late, the game yesterday not with standing.
Is that with or without Poythress? You see, your other Florida fans don't like to hear or believe this but Poythress is a load to handle and is a big part of what UK does on both ends of the court. He didn't play yesterday.Real Time RPI has not been updated for yesterday's games, but that site projects a 6 point Florida win in the rematch
Massey's Ratings gives Florida over a 60% chance of winning the the rematch, which equates to about a 5 or 6 point win.
