It's not like this game is replacing another big time game...........it's replacing a fairleigh dickinson or evansville.
How could anyone not be good with this is beyond me.

G-Town, Syracuse and UConn have all won Championships. ND has not. Again, it's a step up and I'm thankful the Irish are replacing at least one awful program on the schedule.Notre dame is better than half the teams in that list...Georgetown? Syracuse? UConn?
I got ya, but we aren’t talking about the 1980s or 2000s. UCONN isn’t even in a real conference and is a wreck. Syracuse is totally irrelevant, and Georgetown is sinking (I do like Ewing though).G-Town, Syracuse and UConn have all won Championships. ND has not. So true. I grew up in Indiana, and Indiana has at least 4 or 5 HIGH SCHOOL gyms larger than Cameron Indoor. Makes it easy to have a huge home court advantage with such a small venue.Duke doesn't schedule big time out of conference opponents in home-home series for 2 reasons:
1) their little high school gym is too small, hence no money advantage. A neutral site game sells more tickets and pays a bigger split than any home game they have
2) he doesn't ever risk a home loss at home beyond the conference games he is forced to play
So until the ACC forces Duke to upgrade facilities (like they did in football), Duke isn't upgrading Cameron and won't change their scheduling. Even after Coach K leaves.
