Their AD whined today because ACC didn’t push for them to be in the playoff. Hilarious, you won’t join their conference for football and get your way in CFB most of the time. I don’t care if they deserved the bid or not. Glad it didn’t go their way.

I don't think they really want to play in that big 10 schedule because they'll have to play Ohio State pretty much every year and lose

This is laughable. Why, exactly, would the ACC advocate on behalf of Notre Dame? Notre Dame doesn't share their NBC money with the ACC, right? Did Notre Dame share the money from their playoff run last year with the ACC?

I think Miami was going to be above them, if anything, they screwed ND in favor of Bama.

Blows the mind any school would think playing an ACC schedule would be a good idea... especially with no chance of ever being the conference champion. I dont care what year we're talking about. In hindsight at the very least... what a stupid move that was.

I don't know what response they expected. Did they think college football fans and other teams would rally around them? Everyone is just making fun of them.

It sucks to be a senior on that team with no pro future, realizing that without knowing it, you already played in your last game.

I read or saw somewhere that ND will always be independent due to some religious, corporate or founding father rule. Maybe someone else can shine a light on that. However they should not turn down a bowl invite and instead play to show the world what they missed. Pick the best team that is remaining and play them. Chumps
