Rutgers fought back with great heart and really turned this into a game. Continued great coaching and another added piece or two and this will be a very good team.

SHU is not average. Come on give credit where credit is due. They just beat the number 9 team in the country. They just plain beat us. We fought hard and lost.
You guys find so much to complain about. They did the Best they could and I am sure during the comeback you were cheering them on. Go RU!!
With all due respect, Kentucky is nowhere near the number 9 team in the country. Winnable game, but we shot terribly
I was reacting to the backhand pat in the back by the SHU fan who came here like we put up a good fight against a top 10 team or something.
Guy comes with a nice message and some of you have to just spaz out. Grow up.
They played hard till the end. Just need to make shots. Got a steal and a layup at the end...
I am a fan of both teams as I am a Seton Hall Grad and a Rutgers Law School Grad. You will see that a couple of additional pieces will push this team into the middle of the B10. This is not an overnight rebuild.
I would love watching you scream and yell at 4th graders not making a shot and dwelling on every negative play. Whether it is RU or 4th grade they are trying their hardest. Poor plays happen. There are more positives than negatives happening on the court. Montez looked good on that drive with a few minutes left and he will only get better.

IDK if I'm Baker I'd be a bit ashamed about today's performance. Numbers don't tell the story. Just an awful game today. Started to turn it around in the second half but that first half he might as well have not been there. We can't only capitalize in one half..need to play some full games.

Funny cause I feel totally ashamed of that performance. No one played well or even close to their best. Specifically I need geo to be a winner and he’s looked like he has the flu for the last game and a half... cut your hair!
Last week Issa had the flu so maybe it is still impacting team and they are not using it as an excuse. Positive is that if they made a few shots that would have won so they are getting close.

Theyre a very average team. They have one scorer. We shot what, 30% from the field? Something insane like that. And it wasnt because of good D, we were missing wide open looks.
Again. We are average as well right now and if we made a few shots we could have won. In the recent past we probably get blown out.
He had an awful first half and he's trying to do too much. He's also not a point guard. Having mulcahy and young next year handle the rock will be huge for him. Ashamed is a poor taste of words.
Geo needs to play off the ball. He would be so much more effective. Shame we didn't pick up a grad transfer point this year.

Also, Page is a STUD tho I didn't appreciate his flagrant intentional foul on Omuryi last year...or his comments about the outcome of the game / Rutgers this year.
If he tries that in the NBA … Harden, Westbrook, Lebron, etc. will hand him his breakfast, lunch and dinner!

In NJ that’s all people care about it sometimes seem. Actually winning might be secondary to playing turf stuff. It’s not always clear what’s more important.
No way are they average. They have 4-5 guys that can hit the threes, a couple shot blockers and Powell.
As a Kentucky fan I can assure you we were at no point close to being the legitimate 9th best team in the country. When SHU beat UK it was a battle between two average teams.
Improving is kind of important and that is what we are doing. Winning these will happen. Same with football. Complaining every chance you get will not help..
I agree. We are improving. The problem is we need to improve more. We need guys that can shoot. We don’t have any. I’m not complaining. It’s an observation. I’d like us to do more than just improve, and to do that, we need guys who can consistently shoot.
If we even shoot close to good we win that game.
But you can only play with who is on the roster at this point. Hopefully thiam shoots or one of the guards can take over the point to allow Geo more freedom.
