Nothing like The Leonard Leap

This never gets old. I can’t believe it is almost 20 years ago!
Here’s another classic!
It seems like we have found successful running backs like Ray Rice. But we haven’t had another role player like Brian Leonard!
Those leaps were fun when RU did them lol.
Its was one of those things where West Virginia's Owen Schmitt pulled a Leonard Leap on Devin McCourty of all people. I can't hear "Leonard Leap" without thinking of the "Schmitt Leap." Funny thing is none of those WV players really did much in NFL but in BE they were tough

BL is still my all time favorite player. We met his parents in NC. Such a great family.
I’m more of a Saturday > Sunday guy as it relates to the Program.
Love hearing the names along with the school mentioned on Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights.
But would prefer better results on Saturday than a brief personnel mention on those other days.
We can really thank Terry Shea for us getting Brian Leonard. He honored his commitment to his older brother Nate despite an injury. That went along way with Brian IIRC.
I took that picture … and several others that have stood the test of time and I see on here from time to time.
