It was not in my line of vision. Mea culpa. But, going into sec play we are going to need to score more in earlier innings. Chase the starter with aggressive AB’s early
To be fair, Southern and Tulane used a pitch by committee approach on us you won’t see in weekend series. Much harder to fool batters the second and third time around.
The game thread did not have enough about the comeback. This is a tough team to beat. Even if we win sloppy, or we lose these tight one pitch games to Top 10 teams, or we make a comeback. We are always there in the end.

By far the best comeback is from the Mayflower. The Elite (RIP) had great comeback too. What you posted above is nasty.
This team's MO so far seems to be that they have a massive inning in them somewhere during the game even when they are getting shut down. They get a couple of baserunners and then the floodgates seem to open up. The one thing we still have not proven is that our defense and hitters can make that one play with the game on the line to win a close game against a ranked opponent.
With this team so far, the offense has been good to great (the lowest number of runs we've scored so far is 6 in two games).
The issues stem from shaky pitching once you get past our weekend guys and too many errors. If the pitching comes along I think this team will be dangerous in the post-season.

Charlie Foster has been shaky at best, I was hoping for good things from him. Last night he gave up 2 runs 3 hits and 49 pitches in only 2.1 innings. We really need him to figure it out and get on a roll
Mayflower is good for sure. Gibbes out in learned has good comeback too.
True, but after that we had a runner at 3rd with no outs and could not bring him in. Before that we had one out to get with nobody on up two runs and blew it.
Foster has been given multiple opportunities to prove himself and he has shat the bed every single time. He still might get it together but his window of opportunity has to be closing soon. At some point you are what you stats say you are.
It's all just Thousand Island w/ stuff in it. My wife loves it, has to have it whenever/wherever its available. I took some of this crap below and added Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice and she swears its the best she's had although she thinks I whipped it up from scratch, what she doesn't know won't hurt her. I don't like Thousand Island so its a no for me

Yeah. If we can get about 3 pitchers to develop some consistency and clean up the defense just a little, this team could be real dangerous by May/June.
