Wow, that's a whole lot of news in just two sentences lol.
Awful to hear about Doorson. Hopefully Diallo can continue to grow in his role opposite Lewis.
Can we get any hints about the commit? Great to hear. Thanks BK.
probably Issa ThiamI was told to expect a 2016 commitment very soon from a foreign prospect...it's a name that's been talked about before here.
And, Doorson was in streets today because he has a foot injury...expected to miss considerable time
Can you pls describe his game?probably Issa Thiam
Can you pls describe his game?

And the doorson news sucks
Thanks BK for sharing

Unless he's coming in at mid year...tell me about Thiam next Fall...And Thiam has some range with the jumper
I wrote a post about him somewhere else, but Ill give you a quick observation.
Thiam is a 6 8 wing from senegal. Still fairly raw, but gets to the right spots on the floor and can get to the basket well. ON defense, he is a + player, and is aware on help defense and also keeps an eye on his man. He knows where rebounds come from, and gets to those spots. He is a smart kid. I believe with 20 pounds on his frame, he is a great pickup for Rutgers. That will be the third player from Africa on this roster with Diallo(senegal) and Doorson.I like the move.
I see him as a poor mans Ahmed Bashir. Or an ahmed Bashir as a freshman. I like the kids game and attitude.
No interest in recruiting? Odd on a college boardUnless he's coming in at mid year...tell me about Thiam next Fall...
Alvydas Tenys?I was told to expect a 2016 commitment very soon from a foreign prospect...it's a name that's been talked about before here.
I spoke to Shaq after practice and he said about a month.. its on side of foot.. I think he said fracture of navicular bone..he said (1) month and then it will be evaluated. Hopefully, he doesn't miss much time because we need him for depth as opposed to considering redshirting. The Doorson news does suck but now Diallo will have a huge opportunity.....and I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised with Diallo's play

Sorry, but most of the people here are in fact interested in who is signing a NLI this fall.
I always thought he had a lot of potential, Bannon just got into his head. They seemed like oil and water. Tenys had some good games (notably against Nova for some reason) then he would disappear.I was at Tenys' first exhibition game and it rwas something. He did have some good momts but nothing again like that first one.
CBS sports is projecting that Thiam is 100% to RU but not committed.

he does not eat an American diet and is from Africa
Only needs a week or two.also assume adolescent body development -
maybe he should hang with our Gov for a month....

You mean, Eric, right? Wasn't Earl from Rahway and he played at Louisville?Remember Earl Clark?
Yes correct, when I was typing the name it didn't sound right but couldn't come up with Eric. ThanksYou mean, Eric, right? Wasn't Earl from Rahway and he played at Louisville?
