The search committee visited this board two weeks ago looking for our input on the next coach. Unfortunately, the deadline for us to give our suggestions was Monday. They are on a tight schedule, so I don't expect them to take any late input.
Keep your eyes open for when they will report back to us. If we are lucky, they will run their decision by us before they make an offer. Although, if you read other posts here, rumor has it they have already made their offer, without checking with us.

I like Thad as a coach, but he just recently pulled out of the opening at Georgia saying he didn't feel he could give them the effort they deserved. That being said, what makes you think he would be a fit here where expectations are so much higher?

Don't get me wrong...I'm no card fan...but I like when Louisville is a top 20 team..the rivalry is so much better..didn't come here to piss anyone off
When Ohio St played at the Yum a couple of years ago, I couldn’t believe how bad he looked. He could barely walk to the locker room. He had to feel miserable.
Maybe if you would engage and answer questions you might get a better reception.
Maybe it's just me, but I've never had a need to go on other team boards, and the #1 rival at that, and hang out. Never understood that.

You like the rivalry when you win 90% of the games. Pitino got your interest when he was here. All hindsight now, I wish I had never heard of him. His 15 seconds of fun has given us nothing but embarrassment after embarrassment. We should have known better. We should have fired him then with cause.
