To abandon the cause. Man oh man it is bleak right now. Frost may or may not have the answers. We are in the pits.

But what are our options as fans? Give up and walk away or hang in there for the long haul? I choose the latter

Of course fans are going to hang in there but gripe all the while not having a clue what is going on.

I can't believe anyone is surprised by this. It is totally unacceptable. We are so out coached, there I said it. We are just a step up from starting all over again.

We fans are just simple folk. We react to what we can see. Fans come to watch the product on display and what we see is frustrating, alarming, disheartening among many other emotions.

when Frost says Jurgens is another Dave Remington...

when Frost tells everyone they better get them in year one....

In Frost we trust; really? who trusts him? I trust no one at Nebraska. 20 years of showing Groundhog day every football saturday has that effect on people.

Lol, what coach do you think could take our bunch and do any better?

We had a few chances to score and our QB sailed 3 passes.

We are getting killed because this team is WAAAAYYY better than us at every position and match up.

That’s what sucks. We are light years away from winning this conference.

Quit thinking some damn miracle worker can come in here and make our OL hold up to this DL. Or have a defense that can stop their perfect play calling or execution.

Our starters are better than Ohio State's backups. Or, should I say buttercups.

Look I’m not happy with how this game is, but I still stick with one sentiment, I don’t think we are out coached, we are out talented... Day got lucky he got handed the keys to a brand new lambo, frost got handed the keys to a Ford Fiesta and was told to bring back the lambo.... if you don’t think that’s easier to coach then I’m sorry... I don’t mean to call you out I’m just don’t think this is ALL on frost or the coaches, I think they try to put the kids in a position to be successful and I think playing teams like these in a setting like this is so difficult because OSU has no glaring weaknesses

there's not really a choice in the matter, except to hang in, I'd just like to see us go back to running the ball.

As much as I hate to say it this is the best looking Ohio State team I have seen in I don't know how long. I watched the Clemson game today and they don't look near as dominant as this Ohio State team. I will be shocked if they don't win the Conference and finish the regular season undefeated.

We obviously have to hang in there. I'm hoping Frost can learn from this. With an enormous facilities project coming up, we have to hope Frost is the guy. I doubt NU can even afford to get rid of him.

Lol, we ARE out coached. Quit making excuses. Of course, we don’t have the talent yet, but this is just plain poor leadership at this point. Incredibly disappointing but it is what it is.

But no one expected it going into the season. We all thought we would capitalize on the momentum at the end of last season...This is a big set back. I'm not saying we should have won but the game should have been far more competitive than this.

Has Scott made some mistakes? Yup! Has Scott always owned his mistakes yup! That’s what you get when you hire a young coach, he isn’t two years removed from coach of the year because he is a horrible coach... now back to the being out coached, pleas give me details of how he is being out coached? To me out coached is when you are in a game and have the talent to win the game and you lose it... we have talent yes, but not enough to play with the big boys yet... especially on our line... as someone said before this OSU team is legit compared to watching the number one team in the country Clemson, OSU looks even way better then they did today

Long haul man. I was pretty sure this was going to be a blowout. Just about everybody I've listened to this week said that they thought OSU had the best team in the country. After watching this, I agree. OSU is loaded and they got a gift when the NCAA let this kid play right away. We're not getting ANY calls from the zebras (cue Bo's BCS). That first PI call was a joke and the next joke was no offensive holding on the Bucs until the last play of the first half. There were OBVIOUS no calls of holding on some of their big runs. Guys with hands locked on to the outside of pads turning our D linemen sideways and preventing them from filling. The officials aren't making us lose but man they've helped make it lopsided.

Unless he goes 4-8 every year, Frost is going to get 6-7 years to build this. However, people are going to start questioning his coaching ability.

He walked into a gold mine at UCF - a roster full of Florida speedsters, that plays a schedule full of teams like East Carolina and UConn. In that conference, he had a talent advantage against every team. He won't have that luxury here.

Yeah, they got drunk on koolaid and expected to win the west. Judging based on evidence of the season no one expected Nebraska to win.

Agree with you, I will say the great teams will always get the benefit call or no call and the average to poor team never doesn’t. Just like the great pitcher get the strike on a borderline pitch but the rookie never will

They have to shrug this off and beat Northwestern, something I believe they can do. Remember that train crash scenario I put up earlier this week? Ohio State was the train and Nebraska was the beat up VW Bug stuck on the track, that's the way I saw the game being, and it turned out to be just that.

Time to beat the Wildcats.

We have a long way to go... but we were beaten by a very good team..

We don’t have the talent on defense running this 3-4 defense and it will take time to develop the offensive line because we have players coming there...

I’m out for tonight....Had enough..

No reason we can’t be 7-2 going into the Wisconsin game. All the teams till then are very winnable. The biggest issue I see is Adrian struggles big time when teams run a zone defense

I know I sound crazy, but OSU is on another level. They are on a playoff mission. The reality is, after watching Northwestern, Minnesota, Purdue, Iowa and Wisconsin today we’re still in the mix in the West. I think we’re as good as anyone with the exception of Wisconsin in the west. Wisconsin will be a tall but we can still get to 6-7-8 wins and go bowling. We’re still a few years away but Frost will get it done.

You really cannot be serious with this can you? Does it really look like our athletes at every position are prepared with sound technique? You paint yourself into a corner on this. If you say you have top 25 recruits but less than that results, something is wrong. If you can't see where that is at on the field, then I can't help you. It is clear as a pimple on your nose.

Good grief, how many times have we needed one stinking yard this year? ONE YARD! But no, we can't even do that.

I LIKED those plays from under center, they worked and then they went away from it. Even if they didn't get much, they still got something, and better that than Adrian throwing the ball. I think they can win next week, change that offense to what we saw tonight, they should be able to run at Northwestern in the same manner.

Personally, I see McCaffrey being the starter next year, I honestly see him beating Adrian for the spot.

the only mistake I see frost make is thinking the oregon/ucf offense will work here. it has to do with recruiting and not being able to get the players needed for that. I'd like him to transition to running more...not a quick change but gradually over time.

Why was Frost able to take last year's team to a near upset of Ohio State at their home and equal them in yardage if he was driving a Ford Fiesta? Was last year's model better than this years?

Glad you saw it to, after 20 years of coaching high school football, I thought maybe I did not get the memo that you can block with your hands on the outside of the shoulder pads. The non calls on holding were terrible. Either way we lose this game, but damn the non calls were bad. I also agree, best OSU team I have seen.

Hey I am as disappointed as anyone but who are the Huskers going to get to coach who is any better? I admit I have some doubts about this staff, but after three years of Riley I still believe it is going to take more than a couple of seasons to recover. I think most of us fans thought the Huskers were going to be competing for the Big 10 West title but how realistic is that after winning 4 games last year? Held took over a team from Urban Meyer. That is a big difference than what Scott got.

These guys will get it fixed. We're still paying for the sins of the previous staff. Our O line lacks veteran difference makers. Jaimes is good. The rest are average at best. Our linebackers blew some fits and got blocked way too often. We're playing several second string DBs due to injuries. This set up perfectly for a blow out and we got it.
