But rather the obvious, 3 big turnovers, 11 penalties ( 1 huge ), 2 big drops... and going away from the running plays that helped us own them in the first half.

We, again, were the better team that by virtue of terrible and yet predictable bad plays, gave this game away.

cu defense owned the second half, other than one big play. Nebraska got worked in the 4th qtr, coaches and players will learn tons from this game. Hopefully improvement happens next week, Troy will be difficult to say the least.

The play calling affected that..as well as a few dumb penalties. Not so much as their adjustments, but more like our failures to keep doing what we were doing!

Yep very dissapointed in how we played the second half. CU made adjustments we obviously did. I really don't understand going away from the run. We had to be averaging 5-6 yards per carry. Plays made many mistake, but so did the coaches.
UCFs only complaint was Chinander and the D. We might be seeing why.

Defense play calling was not really the problem.. dumb mistakes! Jackson playing to the center of the field like a safety instead of playing his assignment of man coverage of that 3rd and 20+, leaving his man wide open, that was a killer!

I just didn't see the intensity for both side of the ball in the second half to me they were flat
