Only thing I can maybe question is leaving in Bednar a little too long but it ended up not mattering, and I get trying to squeeze one more inning out of him in Game 1 of a doubleheader with Sims not available.

Are you talking about the CSs? Have you noticed how many runners we are leaving on base? He’s trying to manufacture some runs.

Examples? Runners lost on the bases, left Bednar in too long, and Skinner pinch hit come to mind. We’ve been thrown on trying to steal before a walk twice.

You’re right, that certainly does shave a few off the left on base stat.

We have left runners on base, but there have been more than one inning the CS would have otherwise scored. Not to mention if we are not CS so much we get that extra at bat back when we do have guys on. I'm just thinking when he throws out the first 3, maybe change the approach a little.

Seriously. We gave up 2 runs for the game. What the hell you talking about. Stealing? When it works it’s great not so good when it doesn’t. But he was trying to put runners in scoring position. See the problem is you hindsight ***** while not realizing we won. No coach is gonna be perfect because the odds always lean towards failure. But complain
