Not Impressed with Stokes at Summit

I watched the highlights so I am obviously an expert now and here is what I think.

He is a Pope type of player, sits in the empty spaces, doesn't challenge layups and never blocks out.

But he will be better than any Pope player not named Oweh, so Pope needs him pretty bad.

College basketball experts are all saying he is a really good player, a great talent and any team would be lucky to have him. I think I’ll believe them for now.

To me Stokes seems like a guy that needs structure and to play in a system. I don’t think the system itself will matter that much because he’s so versatile, but he needs structure.

i though he loafed the whole game till the fourth. why would you loaf in that game. only time i’ve seen him but didn’t like the lack of hustle.
