When you can’t ever stop the other team you never allow yourself to buy in. I don’t read much into them scoring 100 because that was pointless fouling. But we were a cold Rob game away from losing by 20+ at home in primetime.

The worst part is admittedly this was close to being much worse tonight.

I'm upset and mad. Not that we lost a game that we should have won...we all knew a win wasn't likely tonight. I'm upset and mad that our program is what it is now. Mediocre is the worst thing you can be in sports and that's exactly what we are right now. It's just frustrating that we are stuck in this Groundhog Day repeating the cycle year after year.

@jedwar , I didn't even watch tonight. I had to be reminded that the game was on from a co-worker who doesn't even watch college basketball.

I knew we'd lose tonight. This season's going down the crapper the same way the last few have.

I used to passionately watch each game with the fervor of a Great Awakening preacher.

It's all gone now. Calipari has emptied out my passion for the program like a vindictive landlord who gleefully tosses out the furniture of an evicted tenant.

I’m not angry.

I’m sad and extremely disappointed. And that’s the worst thing for me to feel towards thing I loved.

When I got in trouble when I was little Mom or Dad only had to whop me once. The rest of the time it was just a look or “I’m disappointed”. Ugh! Like a knife!

I’m disappointed in John Vincent Calipari.

Ive gone through terrible things in my life so I can't say I've ever truly been upset or mad at UK basketball. I will watch it from now until I die. I am disheartened though.

Sad state of affairs. It’s time.
Thanks for helping me figure out the logging out and thank you for your honesty in the state of the program. I have been on the board since the old days. We endured all the Tubby years which now don’t look so bad. BCG was a disaster. The Cal hire and beginnings seemed like a dream come true but then in 2010 when he said it was all about draft day I had a really funny feeling and I was right. It was never about UK but all about Cal - players and NBA.

That’s really sad. If you’re like me, Kentucky basketball has been a huge part of and a huge joy since the mid 70s.

You’re welcome. And it’s sad. It’s time. Like a relationship gone sour. It’s time.

If the ones that run the program can stand it, I guess I can. It’s not near as important to me as it use to be.

Same. Found myself just laughing in the 2nd half as UT did what they wanted with no adjustments made by cal the entire game.

I honestly don’t think I could go to a game at Rupp and sit within earshot of cal without getting kicked out of the game.

I didn’t watch ..has better things to do
Not surprised nor upset
I don’t care how melodramatic it sounds but UK Basketball is for all intents and purposes dead

It’s frustrating to watch elementary coaching mistake after elementary coaching mistake with as you said little to no adjustments.

Correct. We were closer to a 25 point blowout than we were to a win.

Turned it off at the under 8 timeout. Knew we weren’t coming back. Don’t care right now

It still hurts and for some reason it’s embarrassing. I’m 46 and have a family but it still ruins my week.
This is me. I told the wife tonight that I wish I didn't care so much and exert so much time and energy to being a fan only to continually be disappointed. I just can't turn it off. It's in my blood.

Tonight was the funeral of the program from start to finish. We were down ten before it even switched over to our game.

I thought we'd win. I thought the players would be pissed for losing at Rupp and come out playing with their hair on fire.

but something is missing - we scored 90, 84 in regulation in the last game

this is insane

Watching Kentucky Basketball has become a chore and I hate to say that. I love Kentucky more than anything but Cal has sucked the energy out of it for me. Not worth getting the blood pressure up for an inevitable result that is just going to happen again.

Yep, use to cuss and ***** and go over and over it. Sometimes do the call in show, after tonight looked over at my dad and said oh well, I'm heading to the house and that was that.

Sad state when it doesn't boil my blood. Especially against the deer hunters, let alone a top 10 macthup at home. Oh well.

I’m in the same spot guys. I didn’t expect to win tonight and I didn’t even turn the game on. I checked the score after it was over and just said “yep.”

When that’s where we’re at, it’s time to move on. Kentucky basketball just sucks right now.
