I thought this game could’ve been much worse than it was.

It ended about how I thought it would.

Frost just needs to find a way to get us in a bowl this year. That would be a successful year of UN fball imo. Stage two of the Riley cleanup.

Iowa, Wis, Pur, Minn, & NW are almost guaranteed losses.

We just have to find a way to upset NW or Pur to be bowl eligible.

Iowa will beat us by 100. Wis could beat us by 70.

Pur, Minn, & NW should beat us but that’s not the point.

If we can just sneak out a win against NW or Pur we could realistically maybe make a bowl game again.

After sleeping on it, you’re right. Frost just isn’t getting it done & I don’t think that he will at this rate.

If we don’t make a bowl this year with this incredibly weak schedule, I may be open to cutting ties.

I haven’t had the stomach to rewatch the game yet.

The only positive takeaways at this point is...

1. More attrition. If a kid isn't going to compete, hasta.

2. More recruiting. We need some Big Dogs on the DL. More OLB with speed. Bigger WR. Our OL recruiting has been ok recently.

This season is a wash. Hate to say it, but Nebraska might never be back. Too many recruiting disadvantages.

I thought Nebraska would lose. I believe I predicted OSU 48-22. But I thought it might be a 34-22 game going into the 4th quarter, and OSU would close it out with two back-breaking TD drives. We'd feel encouraged because we would have been competitive for 3 quarters, only to fall to OSU's superior talent and experience.

Instead, we got a near exact replica of the 2017 game - the game that made us start referencing Mike Riley in past-tense, even though he was still officially the coach.

Nebraska trailed 48-0. At home. At night. On National Television. That should not still be happening.

I didn't pay $200-$250 for a ticket that was being asked. That's a positive from last night.

That's why Fields was still in the game throwing fade routes to the corner of the end zone? LOL. Called off my ***. Day is a Chip disciple who remembered how NU embarrassed them at home last year by nearly beating them. He was going to run the score up as much as he could until we started getting some hits on Fields. When that happened he finally got smart and pulled his starting QB in the 4th qtr.
