March Matness is HERE!

The Div I National Wrestling Championships are in Cleveland later this week. I am hoping for a few All-Americans from this young squad, with more than a handful in store for next year. I'd like to be optimistic, but don't think the Huskers are going to do all that well this year. My hope is the B1G tournament will be tougher than the NCAAs. I think next year should be better.

Not the greatest start for round 1. Berger probably the best chance for a high place, and he won his first round match. Saw where Renteria didn't make weight. Disappointing. Thought he underperformed most of the year.

The Huskers had a couple of solid wins over ranked opponents today, but also lost to a few underdogs as well.

The B1G is crushing it so far, even more so than expected. Bucknuts ended up going 19-1 in their matches for the first day, which is almost impossible!

2 for 2 so far in the blood round, two more Husker wrestlers to go! Win and you are an All-American... Lose and you are not!

Didn't run across of any other their matches on TV, but congrats to the three all americans. Hope you're right about next year Cloud

Impressive night of wrestling, great tournament, awesome atmosphere in Cleveland, wonderful to see the youth movement....

Huskers finish 9th in the nation, top ten four years in a row, excited for the future of the program!
